This is the first stage of the popular Mosel-Our-Weg long-distance hiking trail, which leads from Alf on the Moselle to Vianden right across the Volcanic Eifel.
Right from the start, this hike enchants with fantastic views of the Moselle valley, the surrounding vineyards and two castles. Most of the route leads through the unspoilt nature of the Kondelwald forest. Once you arrive in the spa town of Bad Bertrich, you can relax in the Glaubersalztherme spa, for example. There are places to stay overnight and stop for refreshments.
