This hike is a certified premium hiking trail and partly follows the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig trail. It follows in the footsteps of ancient Celtic and Roman ruins through majestic valleys and along babbling brooks. There are also tunnels that lead through an enchanted forest! And even the Celts used the long ascent up to the castle hill of the ruins of Balduinseck.
