It starts at the Jägerheim excursion restaurant in Burgbrohl. The trail leads via the Trasshöhlen caves (which can also be visited without torches) and Burgbrohl Castle via the chapel in Nücker to the former Mauerley Roman quarry. This is followed by the 800 metre long, impressive Wolfsschlucht gorge. The route continues along beautiful forest paths back to the starting point of the hike in Burgbrohl.
