This beautiful hike not only offers typical Rhine Valley views of vineyards, woodland and one of the largest Rhine bends, but also a popular via ferrata. The Middle Rhine via ferrata in Boppard is a via ferrata categorised as low to moderately difficult (category B). In addition to the secured climbing sections typical of via ferratas, the Mittelrhein via ferrata also offers a hiking variant on which visitors who are not afraid of heights can avoid the climbing sections.
