The fifth stage of the Winterberger Hochtour starts in Niedersfeld and leads towards the highest mountain in Westphalia, theLangenberg. The route ascends on a paved forest path - if you wish, you can make the detour to the summit (although you won't have a good view from here). A fairly steep natural staircase takes you back to the Hochheide, along the Hoppecke spring and to the Scheid refuge and on to Hildfeld.
