Try this 44.3-km circular trail near Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This trail is great for camping and bike touring, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.
The starting point is the terminus of the KVB line 9 "Königsforst". You can also park in the P+R car park or the Aldi car park. Then it's first a roll-in along the airport and then a short loop with a few climbs through the Bergische.
