The loop starts in Brassert and leads anti-clockwise past the leisure park and out of the town. You cross the Wesel-Datteln Canal. If you want to walk a little longer between the canal and the river Lippe, you can walk into the Hervester Bruch as far as the archery centre and then turn back. For a shorter loop, you can turn left before the "Haus Gloe" restaurant (refreshments available), cross the Fentrop bridge and walk back to Brassert.
