Great circular route in North Rhine-Westphalia/Belgium (DE/BEL).
A long tour with many sights awaits. It goes into the High Fens, to the Herzogenhügel, along idyllic little streams and to the "Kreuz im Venn", a mighty cross 6 metres high and weighing approx. 1.4 tonnes. It was built in 1890 by the parish priest of the time and is firmly anchored in the rock on the Richelsley. 31 steps lead up to the cross, which also has cross-shaped ornaments carved into it.
The start is at the "Reichensteiner Brücke" car park, where there are also benches for resting and picnicking.
