The Odenthal Witch Route takes hikers back to the early 17th century, when the witch hunts in the Bergisches Land cost the lives of many innocent women convicted of being witches. In the town center of Odenthal, the cauldron-shaped witch's fountain is reminiscent of those times. You also hike to places that are said to have once served the supposed witches as a place to dance.
