Goldhammer Bach

Starting at the Hordeler Heide cable pulley, the route heads towards the "Erzbahntrasse" railway line and over it to Kabeisemannsweg. To the left of the tracks, the route crosses the car park of the model airfield and then runs along the field down to the Goldhammer stream. Then head into the wood and round the slag heap on the left. There are currently some fallen trees here, but they can be negotiated. At the back of the slag heap, the path climbs quite steeply. At the top of the plateau, there is a circular route past the bees. Then it goes down to the USB car park. Continue along Blücherstraße for approx. 200 metres until you reach the entrance to the animal shelter again in the forest. After a few hundred metres you come back to the Goldhammer stream. The stream is a great place for dogs and children to play. The route now goes back up the field to the airfield and then left a few metres along the Kabeisemannsweg to the right into the wood. Through the wood you come back to the start at the rope disc. Ideal round for dog owners. Dogs only need to be kept on a lead on the ore railway line and on Blücherstraße.
