Try this 18.0-km circular trail near Warstein, North Rhine-Westphalia. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a popular trail for mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through October.

Directions The route starts in Bilsteintal at car park P3. Here the route begins directly with a single trail, which runs slowly uphill through the forest. Due to the many curves and sometimes tree roots, driving technique is particularly important here. Once you have completed the trail, you drive along a gravel road along an orchard and cross the L735 country road. On the other side of the road we continue on a gravel path until a single trail lures us back into the forest to the left. After a short trail we continue uphill until we arrive at the XXL bench. Here you can take a short break, enjoy the wide view and/or take a nice photo. Now it goes downhill on a very rutted forest path (gravel with some deep potholes!) until we arrive in the valley at the stables of a shepherd. Here the sheep are often standing all around on the meadows. At the stables we turn right onto a field path and follow it until we reach the edge of the forest. We drive along the edge of the forest until we pass a seating area. Here we turn sharp right and are then back on a trail that leads us through the forest up to the Püsterberg. At the top we turn right again and follow the forestry path for quite a long time. After approx. 2 km there is the option to turn right (round A) and follow a trail to the crown oak or turn left (round B) and drive the extension. We decide to go left (Round B) and follow a trail into the forest. The trail soon becomes a downhill trail, which leads to a clearing. From here the trail goes down a winding path between many deadwood deposits along the mountain until you arrive at the bottom on a gravel forestry path in the Romecke. We follow this path to the right and can again after about 2 km
