The Schweriner See Rundtour is a 63 km circular hike around Lake Schwerin and is one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in northern Germany. This is the fourth and final stage of the Schweriner See Rundtour. The less than 10 km long hike starts in Mueß and ends at Schwerin Castle or alternatively at Schwerin railway station. You pass one of the region's most popular beaches in Zippendorf, where it is worth taking a relaxing break, especially in summer. There are numerous places to stay overnight and stop for refreshments.
