Popular circular route with great views on Rügen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
This beautiful route on the Wittow peninsula leads from Putgarten via Cape Arkona on paved paths. The car can be parked at the starting point at the Kap Arkona car park.
From there, it goes along fields first to the fishing village Vitt and then hikes along the coast with beautiful views over the Baltic Sea to the famous Cape Arkona and the historic lighthouses. A little further along the coast, we return to the starting point.
With a bit of luck, even gray seals can be spotted.
