The 11 km circular trail leads from the zoo car park via the forest playground to the Silberberg and in a wide arc around the Kreienberg past the Kaisereiche. From there it goes to a prehistoric stone grave and past a modern resting forest back to the starting point.
With the exception of the Kurpark/forest playground area, the route runs along forest paths and there are major inclines. Hiking boots are recommended.
Signposting/parking
The route is signposted throughout with a purple arrow on a white background. The free car park at the forest playground is a good starting point.
