Explore the breathtakingly beautiful forest and heathland landscape around the Hanstedt mountains. These are part of the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve. You start at the toboggan run near the Hanstedt forest pool. You first walk westwards until you reach the Pastorenweg, then continue in a southerly direction, where it meets the Drumberger cycle path. The trail continues in a loop to the Wilseder Heide. A wide variety of heather plants bloom here, offering a veritable firework display of colours. Passing the forest school, you return to the starting point. Of course, there are no refreshment stops along the way and please make sure that no rubbish is left behind in the protected nature. Otherwise you will find what you are looking for in Hanstedt.
