The second stage of the pilgrimage trail requires a little more stamina than the first stage. The route heads south behind St Martin's Church through the town park and past the Schaumburg brewery to Krebshagen. Follow the Krummer Bach stream as far as the Kohleweg, then join the district road that leads to Wendthagen. There you follow the Schaumburger Weg into the forest of the Bückeberg; from here it is uphill. You pass the quarry and the youth centre, then continue to Kathrinhagen, where you can take a detour to the church - there is also a natural monument here, a 600-year-old lime tree. It is now not far to Rehren - the stage ends at the pilgrimage chapel.
