The first section of the route from Frankfurt to Hanau, however, is still along the country road before you get onto the cycle path from Hanau. Often cycling directly along the banks of the Main, the western foothills of the Hessian Spessart Nature Park are crossed. The regional train runs from Miltenberg back to Frankfurt.
