Popular circular trail in the Frau-Holle-Land Geo-Nature Park
This route is a certified premium hiking trail named after a cluster of sequoia trees near the starting point.
The circular trail leads through varied landscapes of forests, fields and gentle hills, from where you have a wonderful view of the Kassel Basin.
Since 2013, the trail has also included elements of cultural history such as the remains of a monkey monument, a ruined bridge and a forest pond in Martin Ernst von Schlieffen's landscape park, which was created during the Romantic period.
The circular trail is marked on both sides with a yellow "P11" and can be reached by bus and train (Nieste Königsalm stop). There are refreshment stops along the way.
