Hike to the Grosser Feldberg with its magnificent views.
This hiking route starts at the Hohemark in Oberursel and leads to the summits of the Altkönig and the Großer Feldberg. The trail runs through wooded areas, with some steep climbs. On the ascent to the Altkönig you will see the remains of two Celtic ring forts. From the summit of the Großer Feldberg, the highest point in the Taunus, as well as from various other points along the trail, there are views of the surrounding Taunus landscape and the Rhine-Main plain.
