This circular route begins in the east of Heppenheim. Soon after the start, the Schlossberg is climbed, on whose summit the ruins of Starkenburg Castle, built in 1065, are enthroned. The route continues to climb steadily up to the Silbergrubenkopf, but despite its long distance, the hike is relatively relaxed and full of fantastic views.
