Through the Green Mainhattan

Popular walk in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse. This route starts on the doorstep of Frankfurt's central railway station. The tour can be done confidently on foot, although the varied course is mainly on asphalt roads. Those who prefer cycling or inline skating can tackle the time this way. The trail continues along Münchener Straße to Willy-Brandt-Platz. Via the lovingly landscaped Gallus- and Taunusanlage, you reach the Old Frankfurt Opera House. Behind it are the Bockenheimer Anlage and the Eschersheimer Anlage with a small pond. The route then continues along the Main before crossing the district of Oberrad. At the edge of the forest, there is the option of visiting the beautifully landscaped Scheerpark forest playground with a miniature mini-golf course or continuing to the wooden Goetheturm tower. The view of the Main metropolis skyline from the top is beautiful. Further on, the route runs through Sachsenhausen and crosses the Iron Bridge to the Römer, Frankfurt's market square with the famous Paulskirche. From here, it is only a stone's throw to the central railway station, where the city tour in Frankfurt ends.
