Beautiful route around the Sacrower See in Potsdam, Brandenburg.
The Sacrower See, which is completely surrounded by a nature reserve, is a truly hidden gem. The starting point is on Fährstraße (BVG ferry or car park available). The path is beautiful throughout and there is plenty to see. Through the castle park, past Sacrow Castle and the unique Heilandkirche church, the trail makes a loop through the protected Königswald forest along the Jungfernsee lake. Finally, the route leads to Lake Sacrow. The shore circuit around almost the entire lake is beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant "Zum Sacrower See" is a great place to stop for a bite to eat after the circuit. The last section leads along the Havel on a small peninsula.
