Lake-rich circular route to the Feldberg lake district, Brandenburg.
Sections of the route follow the Ice Age Route, the Uckermark Cycle Route, the Brandenburg Tour and the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route. Appropriate signposting is available. In order to be able to cycle and enjoy the tour in a relaxed manner, we recommend starting in Fürstenberg at around 10 a.m. in summer. You can also plan extra time and a few extra kilometres for sightseeing along the route. The cycle tour is suitable for trekking bikes, but is more suitable for mountain bikes with good suspension. Some of the longer unpaved paths (e.g. between Wokuhl and Gnewitz and between Triepkendorf and Laeven) are passable, but not comfortable. Wider tyres are also an advantage for some sandy and stony forest passages.
