The second stage from Lühnsdorf to Rabenstein takes you through the typical Brandenburg pine forests, which offer some cooling on hot days. You run through the beautiful landscape of the Planetal - which is also home to beavers. The loop to the Neuendorfer Rummel is one of the most beautiful Fläming Rummels (Rummels are the dry valleys typical of the Fläming that were formed during the Ice Age). The route continues up and down hills through meadows, fields and forests - the Fläming is also jokingly referred to as "Germany's smallest low mountain range". Once you reach Rädigke, you walk past the mouflon enclosure and on to Raben, where the nature park centre is located. The final destination is Rabenstein Castle - where you can also stop for a bite to eat. You should allow around 6 hours for the route.
