The circular route starts at the Haslachgraben gravel pit car park. From there, there is a steep ascent to the Wilbarren.
The Wildbarren is an easy climb and also a very popular viewing summit. From the summit, there is a fantastic view as far as the main Alpine ridge. With two detours to the Jochstein and Dreifaltigkeit exit points. A leisurely descent through the forest to the next highlight of the tour, the Bichlersee lake. A beautiful loop around the idyllic mountain lake invites to take a nice break. The Gasthof Bichlersee is a great place to stop for a hearty traditional meal before returning to the starting point.
