Wonderful section of the route in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, Bavaria.
The 13th stage of the Wasserläufer route leads through the Steigbachtal valley, along the Hugofels castle ruins, from where you have excellent views of the Kleiner Alpsee lake, to the stage destination of Missen-Wilhams. From the Alpe Grund, you hike along the shore paths of the Großer Alpsee to the Pfarralpe before continuing through the Tuffenmoos to the stage finish.
