This marvellous alpine hike starts at the middle station of the Hochriesbahn cable car. Via the Ebersbergeralm you hike up to the Hochries, a 1569 m high peak in the western Chiemgau Alps. The return journey can be made via the familiar paths of hiking trail 216b or in comfort with the Hochriesbahn cable car.
