This route starts at the Spatenau car park. It leads through the forest up to the Alfred Drexel Haus. A little further on is the Pölcher Schneid, which is almost 1400 metres high. On the way back, you pass the Doaglalm, where you can stop off and rest if you wish. From there it is a short walk back to the starting point.
