Beautiful circular route on the Wörthsee near Inning am Ammersee, Bavaria.
This hike can be reached by bus and train (bus stop Schlagenhofen). Parking is available at the starting point for those arriving by car. There and along the route there is a beer garden and other places to stop for refreshments. The route is therefore ideal as a day trip from Munich.
The hiking trail starts on the southwestern shore of Lake Wörth and leads clockwise around the lake. You cross the community of Bachern, which is the starting point for visiting the Wörthseeschlössl, and the community of Wörthsee. There are numerous campsites along the route that invite you to spend the night near the lake. If the weather is appropriate, sturdy shoes should be taken with you, as the paths can be muddy in places.
