Partenkirchener Dreitorspitze ab Meilerhütte

This challenging summit route begins near the historic Meilerhütte, a shelter resting directly on the border between Germany and Austria. Named after alpine pioneer Hermann von Barth, the secured climbing section ascends steep gray rock formations up to the majestic Partenkirchener Dreitorspitze. The stark high-altitude terrain features weathered limestone slabs, barren slopes, and rare alpine flora nestled within rock crevices. Curious alpine choughs circle overhead as pathfinders navigate the cable-secured passage. A helmet, harness, and via ferrata lanyard ensure safety along vertical drops, while rigid mountain boots provide secure footing.
