Great mountain tour with magnificent views of the Notkarspitze.
The hike begins at the Ettaler Sattel and initially leads steeply uphill through woodland. The path runs along the long east ridge, over the Ochsensitz and the Ziegelspitz, up to the summit of the Notkarspitze. From the Hasenjöchl, the route follows a ridge path in a southerly direction to the Brünstelskopf. The descent is via steep, partly eroded paths that require surefootedness and leads through the Gießenbachtal valley back to the starting point.
