You hike up to the edge of the forest via the high path, then turn left and up a mountain slope, which is strewn with numerous interesting rocks. Steeply rising individual blocks, narrow passages, caves and loopholes stretch up to the highest point of the Geißriegel (746 m). From there, the trail crosses over to the Keilhöhle cave and then runs back to Lixenried.
