The hike begins at the Hündle Bahn mountain station with a stop for refreshments at the Berggaststätte s'Hündle. From here, the route leads along serviced paths and has to overcome a few short climbs. At the end of the route is the Buchenegg waterfall and an opportunity to go swimming on warm days. It then goes back along the same route.
