Start at Ebelsbach-Eltmann railway station. The tour leads along the old post road to Steinbach and then along the old forest road (gravel) with a slight, steady incline up to the DreiLänderEck. The route continues to Lake Bischofsheim for a short break (10 km). After a short climb through the forest, the route continues to the golf course with wonderful views of the Main valley. On to the Hünenhügel with a view of the holy lands and, with luck, Banz Abbey. You will then stop for a bite to eat in a pub in Gleisenau / Ebelsbach. Return via the old castle with garden through the old town centre to Ebelsbach (22 km) Train to Bamberg every hour.
