Historical walk in Passau in Lower Bavaria, the city between the Danube and the Inn.
A beautiful and relaxing walk in a very special place - where the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers meet at the Dreiflüsseeck. It is easy to see how the three different colours of the rivers mix. The water of the Inn, which has its source in the Alps, is green, the Danube is blue-brown and the Ilz, which comes from a moor, is black in colour.
There are also numerous historical sights to discover in the old town and plenty of opportunities to stroll around and stop off at cafés and restaurants.
The start is at Residenzplatz, at the bus stop of the same name. It is also easy to walk here from Passau main station.
