This incredible cycle tour starts at the railway station in Walldürn and goes to the Roman fort baths, where it is possible to top up water supplies. The route continues through fields in the Mantelsgraben to Höpfingen and Hardheim. This section is covered on the Odenwald Madonna Trail.
There are refreshment stops in Hardheim. From there, the tour follows the Erfatal Mill Cycle Path. It is named after the many mills along the way. The Erfatal Valley enchants with its scenic beauty and can still be considered an insider tip for cycling. The majority of the tour is on the tarmac. Once arriving in Miltenberg, the day can be ended in the beautiful historic town center.
