Von der Wutach an den Hochrhein

Start at Tiengen railway station. From there, follow the signs towards Stühlingen. The route is relaxed along the Wutach to Degernau. There, follow the signs towards Erzingen. In Degernau, the route climbs a short and crisp hill to around 500 metres. You will be rewarded with a fantastic view and a rapid descent past vineyards to Erzingen. From Erzingen, the route continues towards Grießen/Geißlingen. Between Geißlingen and Lauchringen, turn off in the direction of Bechtersbohl/Dangstetten. Once again, the route climbs a short and steep hill. Be careful not to follow the main road, but take the small road straight up the hill. Once you reach the top of Bechtersbohl, you can stop for a bite to eat. Continue to Kadelburg. From there you are on the Rhine Valley cycle path. Follow the signs towards Waldshut. After Ettikon you now have the option of cycling back to Tiengen or continuing along the High Rhine to Walshut or even further along the High Rhine. Almost all towns have a railway station. The route is mainly on tarmac paths, with occasional gravel paths. Apart from the two steep climbs, the route is rather flat and easy to cycle.
