This unique circular hike takes you along the German and Swiss sides of the Rhine. It begins at the Schwaderloch Zollhaus and leads over the pedestrian bridge to the Albbruck customs house. It continues on the Albbruck Rhine Island through the Rhine Canal to the dam wall of the Albbruck-Dogern weir power plant. The trail leads over the dam and then from Leibstadt comfortably along the banks of the Rhine back to the starting point.

Start at Tiengen railway station. From there, follow the signs towards Stühlingen. The route is relaxed along the Wutach to Degernau. There, follow the signs towards Erzingen. In Degernau, the route climbs a short and crisp hill to around 500 metres. You will be rewarded with a fantastic view and a rapid descent past vineyards to Erzingen. From Erzingen, the route continues towards Grießen/Geißlingen. Between Geißlingen and Lauchringen, turn off in the direction of Bechtersbohl/Dangstetten....
