The tour starts in Freiburg-Littenweiler. From the railway station, head south-east to Kappel and from there across lush meadows into the magnificent mountain forest. From now on, the route climbs steadily, but the gradient is moderate and easy to manage. You can therefore concentrate fully on the small paths, enchanting streams and beautiful views. If you could live on air and forest alone, this would be a perfect place. Care must be taken, as there are many paths in the forest and some crossroads connect 6 or more paths. Accessible by bus and train. There are refreshment stops at the start and end of the route.
