This route to the Wartberg near Heilbronn is a really beautiful tour. Start directly at Ispringen railway station and head north towards Hohwald. Cycle through the entire forest area to Kieselbronn, where you make a small turning loop just before Enzber. Through fields and meadows you reach the Wartberg. A wonderful excursion destination rewards the hiker here! On the one hand, the Wartberg is a very beautiful wine-growing area - mentioned in documents as early as 1146 - and on the other, it is itself a high mountain with a marvellous view of the city of Heilbronn. In addition to culinary delights in the restaurant on the Wartberg, there is also an interesting wine-growing museum up there. Not forgetting the Wartberg Tower, which can even be climbed. For 20 years, the tower has had a light sculpture called "Sonnenstrahl für Heilbronn" (Sunbeam for Heilbronn), which shines day and night. The way back passes close to the town of Pforzheim.
