Nagoldtalweg - Nagoldquelle - Kleine Enz Valley

This extensive long-distance trail winds its way through the emerald green corridors of the northern Black Forest and connects the historic source of the Nagold with the valley of the small Enz. The route begins at the symbolic source of the Nagold in Urnagold and follows the course of the water through old spruce forests and tranquil meadows. Hikers experience a landscape shaped by the centuries-old tradition of rafting and pass places that once served as important centres of the Black Forest timber trade. A particular highlight is the Erzgrube, a huge dam which today serves as a centre for recreation and nature observation.
