Stäffele Tour Stuttgart Ost - Mitte

Attractive city walk through Stuttgart, Baden- Württemberg. This exciting tour starts at Geroksruhe station. Parking spaces are available. Right at the start, a magnificent view over the city opens up from the Geroksruh vantage point before the route heads downhill through the idyllic Waldebene Ost into the city. Past the Gablenberg cemetery, the route leads to the Uhlandshöhe, a beautifully landscaped park with several highlights. Various viewing platforms provide great views, and the observatory provides exciting information. After a short stretch on paved roads, the following highlights are not extended in coming. Villa Berg Park is a journey back in time to the 19th century. In the middle of the park is the magnificent neo-Renaissance villa. From there, the route continues through the magnificent palace garden, past fairytale fountains, small streams, and enchanting weeping willows. Heading south out of the palace gardens, the route continues through the street to Weissenburg Park, with the Weissenburg, the Tea House, and the Marble Hall. The path finally leads back into the forest past the historic Schiller Oak from 1865. Through shady forest paths, the trail goes uphill back to the starting point.
