Unique fairy trail in the Swabian Forest, Baden-Württemberg
This circular route, which is part of the FairyTrails, is a certified premium hiking trail in the Swabian-Franconian Forest. The town centre of Murrhardt marks the start of this varied hike; the route is therefore easily accessible by bus and train.
The majority of the trail runs through beautiful forest with a few ascents and descents, with beautiful views to enjoy from the heights. The highlight is of course the section where the trail follows the wild Hörschbach gorge to the imposing waterfalls. The five metre high Vordere waterfall is particularly impressive.
The route is quite challenging due to the inclines and natural paths, so hiking boots are highly recommended.
