Fascinating, beautiful hike in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park, Baden-Württemberg.
The Hörschbach is a left or southern tributary of the Murr and flows through a narrow, unspoiled gorge. The Murr area is designated as a natural monument and nature reserve. The "Hintere Wasserfall" falls down impressively at 12 meters in several cascades. Further on to the "Front Waterfall," it falls 5 m over a ledge. The area is home to numerous and distinctive flora and fauna.
It starts at the Hörschbach P1 car park, from where the route begins on the Lower Hirschbachweg and leads to the Rear Waterfall. From there, it goes on the Wasserfallstrasse and Hangweg to the Front Waterfall and back to the car park.
