The trail opens up the sunny steep slopes of the wine-growing region and leads up to the Gullerkopf (933 m) and the popular Gummenhütte (Fensterli-Wirt). The route follows a varied mix of steep forest paths, forest roads and scenic high-altitude trails, offering spectacular views over the Rhine Valley to the Vosges mountains and the striking Kandel peak.
