The scenic trail through the Bielatal in Saxon Switzerland leads past impressive sandstone rock formations near the Ottomühle parking area. Winding through dense forest, the path first visits the towering Herkulessäulen before crossing toward the rock towers at Johanniswacht. The name of the hike comes from the fact that the path looks very much like a turkey! Apart from that, the route leads to many interesting rock formations in the Bielatal valley, including the Rosengarten, the Hercules Columns and the Grenzplatte. It then makes a loop through Buchenhain and Wolfstein before returning.
