Charming year-round tour in Saxon Switzerland, Saxony.
The tour starts at the paid forest car park in front of the Ottomühle mill in the Bielatal valley. The trail leads along the road via the Ottomühle mill to the turn-off towards Grenzplatte, where the path leads uphill. In parts, the trail leads over steps, where caution is advised in icy and snowy conditions.
At the turn-off to Grenzplatte, the trail finally climbs up to the plateau. There are wonderful views of the rocky peaks of the Biella Valley and towards Ostrov in Bohemian Switzerland.
The way back is a mixture of forest and woodland paths. From the plateau, the trail descends steadily until you reach the car park.
