Historical circular route in the Eifel. It starts at the free Buhlert hiking car park. It initially goes in a westerly direction and for a while along the small nature reserve Senkelbachquellen. As the name of the route suggests, this is a route full of contrasts: the first half of the route is on tarmac, so it would also be manageable on a racing bike. The second half, however, is on small dirt tracks and forest paths, most of which are unpaved. There is no getting through here on a road bike.
