The route lies between Havixbeck and Münster and crosses a landscape of open meadows and historic estates. The ground conditions include flat, tarmac surfaces and occasional paved earth surfaces through woodland. Hilly terrain is minimal and characterised by the gentle topography of the Baumberge foothills. Native hedgerows and farmland line the route between the cultural sites. Windproof clothing is appropriate for the exposed rural sections between Roxel and Havixbeck.

Very beautiful - but also partly challenging - route to Münster. At the beginning it goes through many forests with some but manageable climbs - but always on cycle paths. You pass Tilbeck Abbey, which has a very nice café. The route is best ridden in dry weather. At the start in Billerbeck you can park for free at the railway station.
