Stage 3 of the long-distance hiking trail "Römerkanal-Wanderweg", North Rhine-Westphalia. This is the third stage of the varied, approximately 115 km long Roman Canal Trail, which follows the course of a canal constructed by the Romans in the 1st century from Nettersheim through the High Fens-Eifel Nature Park to Sülz. First stage of the long-distance hiking trail "EifelBahnSteig", North Rhine-Westphalia. The EifelBahnSteig is a digital hiking trail whose ten stages each begin and end at a cycling and hiking station in the North Eifel. The first stage starts in Euskirchen, the "Gateway to the Eifel", and leads to Satzvey. This section of the route is quite long at over 27 kilometres. Nevertheless, you should definitely plan a little time to visit some of the castles in the immediate vicinity of the route....
